About Us

Keith is responsible for Oliver Insurance's strategic direction and oversees the sales team.

Keith joined his father's insurance agency in 1971 to begin the second generation in the family insurance business. His experience includes work in broad areas of insurance and risk management, from small business to complex accounts. His depth of experience and knowledge provides a rich resource for our clients and our insurance sales team.

Keith is a graduate of Wichita State University. He holds designations as a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), and an Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI).

Keith served on the board of the Kansas City Chapter of the American Subcontractors Association (KCASA) for six years, from 2003 to 2009. KCASA awarded the Oliver Insurance Agency Associate Member of the Year in 2007, 2008, and 2009. Keith served 22 years as a trustee of the Overland Park Police Retirement Plan.

Jeremy implements strategic initiatives, oversees the operational requirements of the Oliver Insurance Agency, and develops commercial accounts. His duties involve oversight of department team members to assure compliance with internal controls and industry standards.

Jeremy has a decade of experience at Oliver Insurance Agency with expertise in navigating the complexities of contractor's insurance requirements.

Jeremy attended Colorado Mountain College with a focus on outdoor education. He is enrolled in the accounting program at Rockhurst University.

Jeremy is an outdoor enthusiast. He enjoys backpacking, kayaking and fly fishing. He is an active participant and supporter of Convoy of Hope, The Trail Masons Association, Heartland SPCA, and Heart of America Fly Fishers.

Melanie has dual responsibilities at Oliver Insurance Agency, including managing her customers' accounts and managing the broader functions of the Personal Lines Service Team. She works with sales producers, customers, and various company representatives to find the best insurance coverage and value for her customers.

Since coming to Oliver Insurance Agency in 2001, Melanie has developed a strong rapport with her customers and continues to educate both herself and her clients on changes in personal insurance. A background in nonprofit work and grant writing has helped her sift through the sometimes difficult policy contracts to find a simple solution for her customers.

Melanie earned her B.A. in psychology and philosophy from Baker University and regularly takes additional coursework on industry topics.

She enjoys her involvement with Legacy Foundation for the Arts and volunteering with her daughter at Pembroke Hill School.
