Bill develops relationships with top clients to match them with the best products in the insurance market. After analyzing the details with business owners to determine their risk, Bill negotiates with underwriters to create an insurance plan that fits each client's needs. Bill can provide surety bonding, commercial property and casualty insurance, and employee benefits with some of the top insurance companies in the industry.

With more than 35 years of experience in the insurance industry, Bill provides business owners with expertise in a variety of fields, including contractors, real estate developers, and condominium properties. Bill joined Oliver Insurance Agency in 1986. During his time at Oliver Insurance, he's been proud of the loyalty he's earned from his clients who have come to depend on him for his candid and honest advice.

Bill is a past president of the Independent Insurance Agents Association of Johnson County as well as a former alderman for the City of Raytown, Missouri.

Ray helps business owners find the right insurance coverage for their businesses at an affordable price, whether that falls into the category of property and casualty insurance or group life and health coverage. He works with all types of businesses, including funeral homes and cemeteries, machine shops, tool and dye operations, printers, and contractors.

Before joining Oliver Insurance Agency in 1993, Ray was with Sentry Insurance for 22 years. He was a commercial lines producer for Sentry for his first 10 years and then a sales manager for the next 12 years. Ray got his footing in the insurance business with American National Insurance right out of college.

Ray is a graduate of Wichita State University with a degree in business administration and a minor in accounting.

Rays enjoys motorcycle touring trips, ATV trail riding in the mountains, tennis, church activities, and sports activities with his five grandsons.

Dan works with individuals and small business owners to help them avoid insurance gaps or overlap of insurance coverage in their business and personal insurance programs.

Dan has been in the insurance business since 1984, and has spent the better part of two decades with Oliver Insurance Agency.

Dan volunteers for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. He also enjoys coaching his daughter's basketball and soccer teams.

Julie thrives on educating her clients — and new — their insurance coverage and building strong relationships with them that last. She is responsible for establishing new personal lines relationships as well as improving the protection of current clients of the agency.

Celebrating more than 20 years with Oliver Insurance, Julie has served a number of roles before accepting a position in Personal Lines Sales. Her years of experience in the industry, combined with additional coursework and certifications, gives her an excellent perspective on how to develop custom insurance programs that best fit the needs of her clients.

Julie joined Oliver Insurance after graduating from Pittsburg State University in 1990 with a bachelor's degree and was honored as Summa Cum Laude. In 1998, she earned the Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI) designation.

Julie maintains an active social life and has volunteered with her daughters' schools and Harvesters. She appreciates her long-term relationships with her clients and is honored to call many of them her friends.

Tom develops new business relationships with a special industry focus on heavy construction, quarries, ready mix plants, and manufactures. His personal experience in these industries allows him to help his clients protect themselves and their workers with industry-specific insurance plans.

Tom's personal experience in the family construction, asphalt, and concrete industries gives him an understanding of what it takes to be a contractor. He taps his experience and training to help his clients assess their risk, improve their safety plans, and prevent financial losses.

Tom attended Kansas University and earned his Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) certification in 2010. He also maintains his Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) certification and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) certification, allowing him to continually improve his risk management skills.

Elliott is responsible for developing new business relationships in the Commercial Lines division of Oliver Insurance Agency. He works with those clients to effectively and continuously manage their insurance coverage and risk transfer. Elliott advocates for and counsels his clients about coverage and expense.

Elliott is the third generation to work for Oliver Insurance Agency. With more than a decade of experience in the arts and entertainment industry, Elliott has had the responsibility of curating, organizing, and executing visual arts exhibitions as well as managing marketing campaigns for a large performance venue. Throughout his experience, Elliott has come to view the goal of the entrepreneur and that of the artist as similar: to create something of lasting value.

Elliott is a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute with a BFA in painting and printmaking.

Elliott is an active member of the art community having shown works locally and nationally.
